We would love for you to join us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any woman 18 and older who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot ancestor who aided in the cause of American Independence is eligible for membership. We are a non partisan, non-religious society. We set flexible meeting times to accommodate the schedules of women in all walks of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DAR has much for you to discover, from its beautiful historic headquarters in Washington, D.C.<\/a>, to its extensive museum collections and period rooms<\/a>, to its genealogical research database<\/a> system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the state and chapter levels, with its three-part focus on historic preservation, education, and patriotism, the DAR is all about service. There are innumerable ways to get involved and give back to your community. Our mission page<\/a> shows just a few of the many ways the Rhode Island Daughters have worked to support our communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
